Feel Small

Illustration I made for a 4-day game project. We had to make an old school game (around the 90's) based on the game project "Live Adventure" we would make for our final school year with a team of 11. An old-school cover artwork (600x800) was also requested and I was in charge of making it for our project. The reference I used is the absolutely beautiful Secret of Mana cover art, one of my favorite illustrations. I loved trying to convey the scale difference between the tree, the environment and the characters, as well as contrasts and the huge amount of small details everywhere. I only had 1 day and a half to make it but I really had fun with it and I really loved studying the Secret of Mana cover more in detail! The time I had, the artwork resolution and the detailed style of the illustration was challenging but I'm glad with how it turned out in the end!
